Data Deletion Instructions

If you have used Facebook Login to sign into the WOAC Basketball Stats Platform and wish to delete your data, you can do so by following the instructions below.

What Data We Collect

When you sign in with Facebook, we collect:

  • Basic profile information: Name and email address
  • User preferences: Teams and players you follow
  • Notification settings: Your email notification preferences
  • Activity data: Games you've viewed and interactions with the platform

We do not collect or store:

  • Your Facebook friends list
  • Your Facebook posts or activity
  • Any Facebook data beyond basic profile information
  • Payment information (our service is free)

How to Request Data Deletion

Option 1: Delete Your Account Directly

  1. Sign in to your account at woacreport.com
  2. Navigate to your Account Settings by clicking your profile icon
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the settings page
  4. Click "Delete Account"
  5. Confirm the deletion when prompted

When you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days, including:

  • Your user profile
  • Teams and players you follow
  • Notification preferences and history
  • All personal information

Option 2: Contact Support

If you prefer, you can request data deletion by contacting our support team:

  • Email: support@woacreport.com
  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include: Your name and email address used to sign in

We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm via email once your data has been deleted.

Facebook Data Deletion

If you delete the WOAC Basketball Stats Platform app from your Facebook account:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy
  2. Click "Apps and Websites"
  3. Find "WOAC Basketball Stats" in the list
  4. Click "Remove"
  5. This will revoke our app's access to your Facebook data

Note: Removing the app from Facebook does not automatically delete your WOAC Basketball Stats account. To completely delete your account and data, please follow Option 1 or Option 2 above.

What Happens After Deletion

Once your data deletion request is processed:

  • ✅ Your account will be permanently deleted
  • ✅ All personal information will be removed from our database
  • ✅ Your email address will be unsubscribed from all notifications
  • ✅ You will no longer be able to sign in with your deleted account
  • ✅ You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete

Data We Keep for Legal Compliance

In accordance with applicable laws, we may retain certain data for a limited time for:

  • Legal compliance: If required by law or regulation
  • Fraud prevention: To prevent abuse of our services
  • Technical requirements: Backup systems are purged within 30 days

This data is kept in a secure, restricted manner and is not used for any other purpose.

Children's Data (COPPA Compliance)

As the WOAC Basketball Stats Platform features youth sports data, we are committed to protecting children's privacy:

  • No accounts for users under 13: Our service requires users to be 13 or older
  • Parental consent: If a parent or guardian discovers a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us immediately
  • Immediate deletion: We will delete any underage accounts within 24 hours of notification
